About
Elysa-James works as a visual artist and writer/researcher, traveling between Rotterdam (NL), Rio de Janeiro (BR), and Atlanta (USA). With a background in photography, they hold two master's degrees. One in Fine Art & Design and another in Philosophy.
Their practice has an interdisciplinary and feminist approach to the uncanny, grief, vulnerability, horror, time, and memory.
Their work has been seen at EYE Film Museum Amsterdam, CW*IP Antwerp, and V2 Rotterdam, among other places.
