Elysa-James works as a visual artist and writer/researcher, based in Rotterdam.
With a background in photography, they hold an MA in Fine Art & Design and are currently working on another MA in philosophy.
Their practice has an interdisciplinary and feminist approach to themes such as: the uncanny, grief, vulnerability, horror, time, and memory.
Their work has previously been seen at EYE Film Museum Amsterdam, CW*IP Antwerp, and V2 Rotterdam, among other places.
